what is chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a completely separate and distinct form of healthcare which relies on the inherent recuperative ability in each and every living being, to attain and maintain health. Chiropractic is a balanced combination of philosophy, science, and art, that has been a time proven safe, reliable, and effective way to keep you and your entire family healthy.

Chiropractors detect and correct Vertebral Subluxations, through specific Chiropractic adjustments, thus allowing your body to work the way that is was designed. When the nervous system is functioning at 100% of its ability, the body is given its best opportunity for health. Chiropractic does not offer to treat or cure any specific symptom or disease, other than Vertebral Subluxations. However, once people get adjusted, we often see many symptoms and disease processes get better or disappear all together. Included in this area; asthma, allergies, headaches, numbness, tingling, chronic pain, irritability, insomnia, high blood pressure, diabetes, fatigue, PMS, bed wetting, ear infections, colic, and the list goes on.

As Chiropractors, we are trained in thousands of hours of school, (8 years of more), are put through a vigorous internship, and must pass several national and state board exams in order to be licensed. Our schooling consists of Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Embryology, Gynecology, Genito-Urinology, X-ray Procedures, Analysis and Diagnosis, Biochemistry, Histology, Neurology, Nutrition, and a full course work on Chiropractic principles and techniques. The schooling is rigorous, and demanding.

Chiropractic has come a long way since its modern inception at the turn of the century. Your doctor of Chiropractic has devoted an extensive amount of his or her life in order to ensure your health and well being without the use of drugs or surgery.
